MFA x mcbw Workshop: Designing for Sustainable Fashion in a New World

We are excited to announce the MFA x mcbw workshop “Designing for Sustainable Fashion in a New World” on May 5th, 2026, hosted as part of Munich Creative Business Week (mcbw).
This pre-event marks the launch of the second edition of the Munich Fashion Award 2027.

The workshop focuses on the challenges and opportunities for emerging sustainable fashion designers and sustainable labels in a rapidly changing fashion landscape.
EU regulations on sustainable production and transparency are evolving, and even small labels face significant hurdles in implementing solutions such as the AI-supported Digital Product Pass.

What to expect:

  • Expert insights on regulatory requirements and technological tools
  • Interactive sessions exploring the perspective of emerging designers and small labels 
  • Outcome: A GAP analysis identifying opportunities for sustainable growth
